    The Underside Cantina is is bustling with business tonight, Pazaak games are being played in many corners, music is playing loudly and the bar is open. Swoop gang activity has kicked up in the area, but for the most part they are exceedingly respectful of the bar... as long as drinks are half-price.

    Gang members can be seen openly cheating in many games of Pazaak and harassing the Twi'lek Dancer Girls, but no one has the courage to stand up to them.
    (please describe where you are in the bar, or how you are entering.)

    Sighing as he finishs yet another glass of the reasonably potent alchoholic liquid, he moves up to the bar again, and leaning against it he motions to the bartender.
    "Another one of these.. whatever they are" asks Ricky, whilst pulling out a Deathstick and lighting it, before sticking it in his mouth.
    Looking across the bar he notices the thugs harassing Twi'lek Dancer Girls, and shoots them a look of disgust.
    "I know they're ugly.. but surely they can find someone someone that would like them.. as opposed to harassing those that don't" Ricky makes this comment intentionally loud, without shouting, so that most the people in the bar can hear it.

    Colm leans against a wall in a dark corner of the Cantina, his hood up, hiding his eyes. The cloak hides most of him, but it is pulled back to hide his mechanical arm. With his other hand, he fiddles with the servos and wires in his arm almost without thinking as he listens and watches.

    Noticing Ricky's comment, he tenses slightly, wondering if the comment would cause trouble. He checks his side underneath the robe to make sure the lightsaber is in it's proper place.

    Tomek is sitting in one of the cantina booths enjoying a well-mixed drink when he hears Ricky's obnoxious statement. Tomek thinks to himself "Here we go again" and turns to Ricky's direction. He puts up his guard and sets down his drink to be prepared for whatever may accumulate from the situation.

    The bartender, an over-weight Zabrak with a name tag that reads "Verun", hobbles over to Ricky and sets his drink down in front of him. in a deep and calming voice he says, "Hey kid, I appreciate what you're trying to do here, really I do, but lets not start any trouble. Here, take this ale on the house, it will calm you down, trust me I made it myself"

    The Swoopers (as they unimaginably call themselves) seem to be put off, but otherwise haven't reacted to Ricky's taunt. The dancers seem to be annoyed, but as of yet have not been approached physically, so they are not afraid.

    Another swoop jock, a blonde human with chiseled features, observes the situation from a nearby booth. "Hey, fellas, you don't want to waste your time with those dancing girls, do you? Come on, the drinks are half price tonight." He flashes a grin.

    Take 10 on Deception to disguise self as swoop jock: 23 (includes +5 for simple deception). Anyone (including PCs) needs to make a DC 23 Perception check in order to realize that Lek's not really a swoop jock.

    Take 10 on Persuasion to improve the swoop leader's attitude: 23

    The Swooper's leader squints at this new blonde guy, "You must be new..." then a broad grin spreads across his face, "but right you are! Let me buy you a drink friend, names Levik, I'm the leader of this particular sect of the Swoopers. Janar send you?"

    11 on perception, Levik is now friendly towards Lek

    In the corner of the cantina a bearded man smiles to himself as he sees through the young mans deception

    Removing the Deathstick from his mouth, he lifts the Ale and downs it quickly, before setting the Deathstick back, and waiting for the promised calming effects.
    "Firstly Verun, I'm no kid, secondly, thanks for the drink. These Swoop gangs, what are they like? they cause much trouble? Don't seem as bad as the ones in Nar Shadda, if they were, I wouldn't be here.."
    Ricky Black smiles at the bartender, a look in his eyes that speaks total confidentiality in anything said, and as he does he moves a few credits over the table, which to anyone who hadn't heard the bartenders comment would look like the pay for the drink.

    Verun smiles and slides the credits back, "You're alright kid, an old man like me don't need to fear nuthin from the likes of them, got horns sharper than they are." Verun refills Ricky's drink, "Now on your creds no good here, ya hear? Those guys are a bunch a hooligans who fancy themsleves the law around here, I give them half price drinks to avoid a hassle. Now put that stick out before I show you what I learned durin tha Clone Wars, ya hear?" The last comment is with a smile and a wink.

    "Well it's about time," Levik says as he slaps you on the shoulder hard, "Been waiting on him to send us some muscle for some time now. 'Course expected for you to have a little more... well muscle... no offense, just we don't get a lot o' pretty boys like yourself." Levik lets out a behemoth of a laugh at what he thinks passes as a joke, after he calms down he continues, "Well I'm sure we can find use for you, can you handle a speeder?"

    Aun quietly enters the cantina and takes a seat in a side booth. He takes a quick look around, surveying the cantina and it's happening. "Waitress..", he says with a wave. "I'll take a Corellian whiskey."

    Colm settles back against his wall again, and returns to fiddling with his arm, this time taking a small tool from a pouch on his belt and adjusting some of the fittings. He listens carefully to every word that Levik and Jace say, hoping to catch something that could bring him a few credits.

    Failed to notice the deception with a total of 12, listening in with a total of 14 for perception (Just to make sure he doesn't miss anything).

    "Sure I can. Say, I've never been to this bar before. What can you tell me about its... patrons?" He looks around at some of the establishment's strange-looking denizens.
    "Mostly alien scum, after all this is invisisec, but a few humans have started to roll in, so we decided that we had best patrol this area to keep everything in check around here. We humans gotta stick together right, so long as the aliens know their place they get to keep this little establishment open."

    Levik lets out a grunt, "In some of the other sects yeah, but the Empire don't care about The Alien Protection Zone, so this is where the Swoopers thrive. Despite all the aliens you're lucky to have been assigned to us Jacey-boy."
