    My guess is it wouldn't be too difficult to shed a layer or two, rearrange some things, and just look like a guy wearing a tunic or frock of some kind.

    But yeah, there's a gigantic statue of Mace Windu right next to us. If being a Jedi were taboo on this planet, that statue would've been torn down a while ago. It might even help us that we're Jedi.

    Still, I think that hiding weapons -- lightsabers or not -- is still a good idea to avoid attracting more undue attention to ourselves.

    A little paranoia is a healthy thing, especially when you know the universe is hostile.

    As for you being nervous, Jaden, that's pretty much because you have a tendency to misunderstand what I write (often taking the exact opposite meaning), as you recently did in the AtT OOC thread, or overlook what I've written (as you recently did in the AoP IC thread). In your favor I will say that you've gotten much better, to the point that my cluebat has gotten dusty from disuse.

    Without further ado, Kit hits the switch to lower the ramp, eager to enjoy a breath of fresh air.
    Without further ado? Not to rain on everyone's parade, but don't you think it'd be proper behavior to wait for the owner of the ship you've more or less hijacked to decide if and when to lower the ramp and greet whomever is outside? You guys keep taking liberties with a ship you don't own or control, and if I was Fein I'd be more than a little ticked off at your presumptuousness.

    Not to mention that it'd be nice if the players would wait on their fellow player to get a chance to post. It's the reason I have not responded IC as the GM yet.

    Thank you. Especially since the character of Fein would have had ample time to get to the ramp while the rest of you stood around chatting IC. Fein might have his own ideas of when to exit, or who goes first. I do recall him saying to you (that's a collective 'you'), quite explicitly that it's his ship and his rules, and that Kit agreed. Or are you really playing a scatter-brained character rather than merely joking about it? (That's a rhetorical question, in case there's any doubt.)

    BTW, guys, the next time someone does something like open a boarding ramp (which triggers a new scene) and then not wait for me to describe what you see waiting for you I am going to slap all of you senseless, as well as penalize you XP. There was a reason I was waiting on Fein to open the door.

    Rather than delete an entire page of posts I am going to retcon the entire conversation to have taken place before the ramp is opened. DO NOT MAKE ME DO THIS AGAIN. Yes, I'm pissed. First Jaden doesn't wait for Amducious, then Amducious doesn't wait for me. This is going to stop RIGHT NOW. You guys should know better than to merrily move ahead without waiting for the GM to describe scenery. For all you know, there could be a platoon of troops lined up outside waiting to arrest you or shoot you.

    Oh, I think the "finding a junk dealer" part will be quite easy. I'm just not sure how easy it'll be to find one who's willing to buy the Drochs from us. (Just because somebody doesn't like the Nazis, that doesn't mean they're dumb enough to buy the Panzer that you're selling on the black market.)

    But these are SQUIBS! Novel items that are hard to come across are held in special regard in the kRR system.

    I think military-only stuff is hard to find.

    You cannot wander off until the port authorities give you leave to do so. If it helps, imagine that you're an airline traveler entering a new country and going through customs. If you've ever traveled IRL you'll know what I mean.
