"I..." Fein starts before stopping, and restarting, "It's a most generous offer... but... lets just see what we can find..."

At Kit's comment, Fein nods, but adds "You may want someone with you well-versed in the arts of conning. I'd suggest you take one of the protocol droids with you, either Kaycee, or Neo."

"I think that's up to him." Kit looks to the unusual droid. "Neo?"

When it is decided who will accompany who, Fein, and whoever is to go with him, will head off, looking for the parts required to repair the ship; both of the damage it sustained and the flaws it still has.
Between him and one of the protocol droid's, is he fairly confident he can bargain down the price of such parts.
However for the time being, he is simply investigating the prices; and not purchasing, as the chances are he'll need the Jedi's money to do so.
As he passes by he'll also check on the prices of ships.

    Sorry, I have to leave.

(Statement) "I'll go with the jedi. I suppose the questions they are going to make are harder. And the answers can be brutal.
I believe my skills can be better used there."

(Request) "we should shop for a securit kit so we an hack into Ziros crates. Its content can give Fein and me a chance to understand the amount owned to the hutt, and, if needed, be sold for imediate credits."

"Supposing there's nothing explosive in the crates, my weapon might do fine," says Kit.

"That's assuming a lot from a Hutt, Kit," Ky replies.

(Query)"With our current history and luck do you believe we should risk it?" asks Neo with a mental smile "Also, we can use it to deactivate the explosive charge in the droids, and finaly check that processor..."

Kit shrugs. "Perhaps you two are right. Let's not push what luck we have."

Her master would have scolded her for believing in luck, but Kit can't bring herself to believe the Force bothers to control everything. Life before joining the Jedi left its mark on her.

"Finding a junk dealer willing to take three military-grade Imperial boarding craft off our hands isn't going to be easy," Anjo thinks, "but something tells me that Neo has some experience with the black market. We should take him with us."

Neo quickly blinks his eyes in answer to Anjo

(Statement)"If I find a computer console I might find something of use. A name or place maybe."

But before we leave won't we be speaking with a customs officer?

As the ramp lowers, the first thing that Fein (and the rest of you) see is a posse of four small blue furry creatures, each festooned with tool belts carrying all manner of odd tools and unidentifiable objects and utility vests with dozens of bulging pockets, standing next to a rust-streaked land speeder that's obviously seen better days (very much like your own ship), excitedly pointing at the huge things attached to the Death Wish's upper hull and arguing amongst themselves. Upon noticing that the ramp is opening, two of them immediately rush towards the ramp while the other two continue arguing with each other.

One of the two approaching Squibs speaks out, "Welcome! Fix ship, trade, yes?" His companion pulls a small round object from a shoulder satchel and the tiny droid goes quickly zipping past everyone on its silent repulsors and disappears into your ship as the Squib stares intently at a device strapped to one of her forearms.

Neo steps up a little speaking with the squibs (statement)"Thank you good sirs. My masters here, have all the pleasure of stopping in your planet, and welcome fondly the idea of trading."

"Hey wait a-minute-" Fein starts, his eyes still trying to catch up with the miniature droid. As it disapears from sight, he turns back to the seen in front of him.

So Neo wasn't lying when he spoke of protocol functions, he concludes in his head, with a small amount of approval.

"What's that thing doing?" he demands, motioning with his hands to the inside of his ship, pointedly ignoring any talk of trading until this matter has been settled.

What kind of rude- spying people are these?

Kit is a little shocked at how... cute... the Squibs are. She looks to the Force for guidance, wondering if the little droid means mischief.

Taking 10 on Search Your Feelings to determine if it would be beneficial to go get the droid that's inside the ship.

    "No worry. Scan ship."

Fein shouldn't be surprised. It's not as if he hasn't been previously boarded by Imperial troops and had his ship searched. This is quicker, more sophisticated, and less confrontational than having live people poking about. The only odd thing is that customs officers usually ask first, unlike in this instance. Not that any sane ship operator ever says no to being searched by customs.

Kit gets the distinct feeling that it would be most unfavorable to interfere with the droid.

"Well you could of asked..." Fein mutters.

"Yeah, we're here to 'fix ship' and trade," he adds, now willing to talk business.

The Squib looks puzzled at Fein's behavior, "To fix ship, need scan. To pay port fee, need scan. Check for illegal cargo, need scan. No scan, no business. You say you want to do business, we scan." As far as the port officer's concerned, Fein had already given permission -- before landing.

Fein sighs and makes a vague motion to his ship, with his hands, "Scan away."

I accidentally deleted this post when I went to respond to it (and for some damn reason we can no longer undo deletions):

Ky blinks as the droid goes by, and eyes the squibs, Quite a bit of illegal cargo in there...

Take 10 on Search Feelings to see if it will be beneficial to let the droid search the ship. Just want to see if we're in a screwed if we do, screwed if we don't type situation.

Ky gets no feeling as to whether it will be favorable or unfavorable to himself.
