Cad Bane

Cad Bane was a Duros male born on the planet Duro during the last decades of the Galactic Republic. He became a bounty hunter, earning a reputation as a ruthless mercenary who worked solely for the reward of his missions. Bane worked for the highest bidder, caring little who was employing him or what faction they belonged to as long as the credits kept flowing; he had no qualms with turning on his original employer if his quarry offered him a better fee.
By the time Jango Fett, the bounty hunter considered to be the galaxy’s best, perished in 22 BBY, Bane was something of a veteran in his line of work. With Fett out of the picture, he was also among the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter, thought to be cruel and fearsome. He had enemies, though, and a considerable price was on Bane’s head.

Alright… so… this guy was a beast, which made him a little bit tough to stat out. I think I covered all of the main points though.
His obvious forte was ranged attacks with two pistols, typically at short range. I covered that with Rapid Shot/Trigger Work. Hailfire and Flanking Fire aren’t strictly necessary and could really be substituted for any Gunslinger talents, but they work.
He was also pretty good at getting the drop on people and one-shotting them into oblivion. This was covered with a combination of Martial Arts I/Melee Assault/Dastardly Strike/Sneak Attack/Devastating Attack. With all of those, and his stun gauntlets, it should be completely within the realm of possibility to knock out a Senate Guard in one hit, even with moderate rolls.
The Devastating Attack (simple) also helps his use of the grenades, as would his Sneak Attack and Dastardly Strike. Don’t know if its one-hit, but it would be easy enough to finish them off after it.
Notorious allows him to be a bit firmer in negotiations, since as we all know “HE IS IN CONTROL NOW”.
I think that’s it. I’m pretty happy with it, but there’s always room for improvement. Let me know what you think, and feel free to check my math. He was revised quite a few times and sometimes things get lost in translation.

his name in the title is mispelled, and you just beat me to him.

I’ve got a whole list of Clone Wars cartoon stuff that I need to get crackin’ on. I am glad that the Clone Wars book has already come out, so everything not covered in there is pretty much free game.
I believe the next item on my list is the T-series Tactical Droids…

Amazing. Cad is the craziest monster duros ever, and you did him justice. Good job.

Overall I’d say you did a good job. Although I did notice a few things:
He should have the feat shake it off since he’s a scout and trained enendurance.
He should also have armor proficiency(light) from multiclassing into soldier from scout.
Unless my math is wrong he should only have 9 skills(5 scout +4 int)…you’ve given him 10. I would say drop either dual weapon mastery 3 or martial arts 1 for skill traininf. Or you could always drop a skill, probably endurance…which would be reason enough for him not to have shake it off.

Morco_Jocra, the season he doesn’t have Shake It Off is his low Con. He doesn’t meet the feat’s prerequisite Con 13+.

Whoops I didn’t even catch that…although I do believe the other thing’s I pointed out are still missing and/or incorrect on the write-up.

He was missing Shake It Off since he doesn’t have the Ability Score requirement. He actually only has 9 trained skills. Pilot is untrained, but is listed because of the species-granted reroll.
I added Armor Proficiency, though. Don’t know how that got dropped.

Ahh I can;t see how I missed that since Duros is one of my favorite species since WEG.
Still you did a darn fine job on the build…seeing that we don’t know exactly what he capable of yet.

Just realized that the Hailfire talent was redundant with the Rapid Recyclers. Gave him Blind Shot instead. Really, that talent is pretty free… so I may go back and adjust when we get a better idea of his capabilities from season 2.
