Ei-Ryn had an unremarkable childhood. Though she possessed some affinity for the Force, simple fate ensured that she was not discovered by the Jedi Order until long after her window of opportunity had closed. As she grew older, she dreamed of a more remarkable life, leaving her backwater home behind her and vowing to not return until she had made something of herself.

She found notoriety first as a shockboxer and later as a private guard and pilot for a wealthy merchant prince. Her life would forever be changed, however, when the unexpected assassination of her employer would bring her face to face with a young Jedi Knight by the name of Daska Lane. The two would work together to uncover the mystery of the mysterious assassin, leading them on a chase that would lead them into the very bowels of the Galactic Senate.

It was this mystery that shook the foundations of Daska Lane’s faith in the Republic and the Jedi’s allegiance to the Senate and its Chancellor. Daska and Ei-Ryn left Coruscant and joined the Wardens of the Sky. While Daska would continue to uphold the code of the Jedi Order he refused the call to return to Coruscant at the outset of the Clone Wars and would not serve as a General in the Grand Army. He would marry Ei-Ryn several months later, formally severing his ties with the Jedi Order forever. The two returned to her homeworld, where her new husband was warmly welcomed. Their marital bliss was short lived, however, as her husband’s refusal to return to Coruscant for questioning eventually put him at odds with the Jedi and would result in his death at the hands of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Ei-Ryn would hold herself responsible for the death of her husband, and eventually joined the Clone Wars as a mercenary for the Confederacy specializing in the elimination of Jedi targets. After the Clone Wars, she would continue to fight against the newly formed Empire, and eventually joined a fledgling Rebel organization that would allow her to operate more effectively against her enemies.

Luke Skywalker was a legendary soldier and Jedi Master who helped defeat the Galactic Empire and found the New Republic, as well as the New Jedi Order. Born in 19 BBY, the son of the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and the Queen of Naboo Padmé Amidala, he was raised on Tatooine and hidden from Emperor Palpatine and his father, who had become Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. In 0 BBY, Skywalker’s life was to change forever. A chance purchase of two droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO, led to him meeting Han Solo, Princess Leia Organa, and receiving Jedi training from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Skywalker later destroyed the first Death Star and joined the Rebel Alliance.

Over the next few years, he fought in many of the most important battles of the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, Skywalker received Jedi training from Yoda, and learned from Vader that the Dark Lord was his father. One year later, he fought in the Battle of Endor, and succeeded in turning his father back to the light. Thanks to Skywalker, Palpatine was killed, and the Empire was dealt a crippling blow. One year later, the New Republic was formed. Over the next decade, Skywalker helped keep peace throughout the galaxy as the New Republic slowly defeated small remnants of the Empire. In 11 ABY, he founded the New Jedi Order, and began teaching Force-sensitives about the ways of the Force. In 19 ABY, he married Mara Jade, a fellow Force user.

In 25 ABY, the Yuuzhan Vong War broke out. Though the New Republic was nearly crippled by the extra-galactic invaders, they were able to defeat the Yuuzhan Vong in 29 ABY, in large part due to Skywalker and his Jedi. During the war, Skywalker’s wife gave birth to a son, who they named Ben after Luke’s old master. After the close of the war, the New Republic was reshaped into the Galactic Alliance, and Skywalker reformed his Jedi Order, eventually taking the title of Jedi Grand Master. Following the Dark Nest Crisis, Skywalker began to question the Jedi’s new view of the Force. In 40 ABY, the Second Galactic Civil War broke out, an event that shook the galaxy. Later that year, when his wife was killed, and his nephew Jacen Solo took control of the Galactic Alliance, Skywalker began to fear that Jacen had become a Sith, which was proved to be true, as he claimed the title of Dark Lord of the Sith under the name Darth Caedus. With the aid of Skywalker, Caedus was killed by Jaina Solo, ending the war and restoring peace to the galaxy.

Jaina Solo was a Jedi Knight of the New Jedi Order, the twin sister of Jacen Solo and the older sister of Anakin Solo. Born to Han and Leia Organa Solo, she inherited her father’s mechanical adeptness and her mother’s Force sensitivity, resulting in her eventual training at the Jedi Praxeum. During her time there, she had many adventures, including helping to thwart the Second Imperium, where she helped Zekk abandon the dark side of the force. When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy, Jaina joined the New Republic military and distinguished herself as a Rogue Squadron pilot. She was constantly on the front lines of battle during the Yuuzhan Vong War, earning the title of Sword of the Jedi from her uncle, Luke Skywalker, and becoming known as an avatar of the Trickster Goddess Yun-Harla to the Yuuzhan Vong. During the war, she also became romantically involved with Jagged Fel. However, the death of her brother Anakin caused Jaina to walk dangerously close to the dark side. She was later redeemed by Kyp Durron, and as the war waged on, Jaina discovered a way for the Alliance to use Yuuzhan Vong warships and biots to their advantage, participating in the war’s conclusion. Jaina, as a survivor of the Mission to Myrkr, later became Joined into the Killik community, and was involved in the subsequent Dark Nest Crisis and Swarm War.

In 40 ABY, she assumed control of the Hardpoint Squadron and participated in the Battle of Tralus, siding with the Galactic Alliance. Afterwards, she and her brother Jacen commanded Rogue Squadron during the Blockade of Corellia. The resulting crisis resulted in a split between her and Jacen due to his increasingly aggressive actions, though she remained active in the Jedi Order. Jaina would later be paired up with Jagged Fel and Zekk on a mission to hunt down the renegade Dark Jedi Alema Rar. The death of her aunt Mara and the dark deeds of her brother only encouraged her to find a way to stop Jacen, and she began seeking the means to do so through training with her father’s ex-arch-enemy, Mandalore Boba Fett. She later killed her twin brother, Darth Caedus, in a lightsaber duel aboard the Anakin Solo.
